It is the final evolution of Rhyhorn and then Rhydon, gaining in power, bulk, and Defense through the Protector item required for its evolution. In the Pokédex, Rhyperior is described as a rhinoceros-like Pokémon covered in orange rocky plates forming a solid suit of armor. Its imposing size and heavy weight make it a major asset on teams built around raw power, defensive stability, and Ground and Rock attacks.
