Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your use of the Pokedexia website (https://pokedexia.com) and the Compleo mobile application (iOS and Android), together the "Service". The Service is published by Pokedexia (publisher details in the legal notice). By using the Service, you accept these Terms in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Service.

Unofficial fan project. Pokedexia and Compleo are a fan project dedicated to the Pokémon universe. The Service is in no way affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. or The Pokémon Company.

1. The Service

The Service provides a catalogue of Pokémon cards and sealed products, a Pokédex, personal collection tools (wishlist, collection, lists), a card-recognition scanner, and reference information and prices for indicative purposes only. Some features require an account and/or a paid subscription (see section 4).

2. Account

An account is required for certain features (collection, wishlist, scan history, card scanner, Premium subscription).
You agree to provide accurate information and to keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
You must have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. Minors must obtain the consent of their legal guardian.

3. Free tier and limits

The Service may be used for free, subject to certain limits. In particular, the card scanner is limited to a set number of recognized cards per month for free accounts (the limit is shown in the app and may change). These limits are removed by a Premium subscription.

4. Premium subscription (auto-renewable)

The Compleo Premium subscription ("Premium") unlocks advanced features, including the unlimited scanner and card price history (30-day charts). The exact scope of Premium is presented in the app at the time of purchase.

Plans and pricing.

Premium is offered as monthly and annual subscriptions. The title, length and price of each plan (and the per-month price where relevant) are displayed in the app before any purchase, in the currency applicable to your region.
Prices may vary by country and may change; any change will be presented to you before renewal, in accordance with App Store and Google Play rules.

Billing, renewal and cancellation.

Payment is charged to your App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Google) account upon confirmation of purchase.
The subscription renews automatically for the same period unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscription at any time in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period; you keep access to Premium until then.
Refunds. Purchases are handled by Apple and Google. Refund requests are subject to their respective policies and applicable law. In the European Union, the right of withdrawal for digital content supplied immediately may not apply once performance has begun with your consent.
Where applicable, any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited when you purchase the corresponding subscription.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these Terms;
attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, its servers or other users' accounts;
extract, copy or reuse the Service's content on a large scale (scraping, data harvesting) without authorization;
disrupt the Service or circumvent its technical limitations (including free-tier limits).

6. User content

You remain responsible for the content you create through the Service (for example your collections, wishlists and scan lists). You grant us the right to host and process it solely to provide the Service (including syncing across your devices).

7. Intellectual property

All original content of the Service (text, layout, Service-specific graphics, code) is protected by intellectual property law. Any reproduction, representation, modification or distribution, in whole or in part, without prior authorization, is prohibited.

Names, images, characters and elements related to the Pokémon franchise are trademarks or property of their respective owners (Nintendo, Game Freak, Creatures Inc. and The Pokémon Company). They are used within an unofficial fan project, for informational purposes, without any intent to cause confusion with the official brands.

8. Data sources and indicative prices

The Service relies on third-party sources, including PokéAPI, TCGdex and Cardmarket. The prices shown are provided for indicative purposes only, may contain errors or delays, and constitute neither an offer to sell nor a guarantee of value. They must not be relied upon for any buying or selling decision without independent verification.

9. Availability and warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the data (including prices) will be accurate, complete or up to date.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for indirect damages, loss of data or financial loss arising from the use of or inability to use the Service, nor for decisions made on the basis of the information (including prices) it contains. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (in particular mandatory consumer rights).

11. Personal data

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms to reflect legal, technical or Service changes. The applicable version is the one in force at the time of your use. In case of a material change affecting the subscription, you will be informed in accordance with the stores' rules.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service in the event of a breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time; your subscription is managed through your App Store or Google Play account (see section 4).

14. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the law of Belgium. Any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, subject to mandatory consumer protection rules.
