Privacy Policy

This privacy policy explains how the Pokedexia website, available at https://pokedexia.com, and the Compleo mobile application (iOS and Android) collect, use and protect your personal data when you use the website and the application.

1. Data controller

2. Data collected

While browsing the Pokedexia website, the following types of data may be collected:

Browsing data: shortened IP address, browser type, pages viewed, visit duration, device used, via Google Analytics (in Advanced Consent mode to respect your preferences).
Data provided voluntarily: email address, username or message when you fill in a contact form or subscribe to a newsletter.
Advertising measurement data (website only): information collected by the Meta (Facebook/Instagram) and TikTok pixels — pages viewed, clicks to the app stores, account creation — to measure the effectiveness of our campaigns and build advertising audiences. TikTok may also receive, in hashed (unreadable) form, the email address entered when signing in or registering (Advanced Matching). This data is only collected with your explicit consent.

Data specific to the Compleo mobile application:

Account data: email address, username, password (stored encrypted) and, optionally, profile picture, bio and links to your social networks, when you create your account.
Collection data: the cards, wishlists, favourites and preferences you save yourself in the application.
Usage and diagnostic data: usage statistics via Firebase Analytics (Google) and technical error reports via Sentry, to improve the app and fix bugs.
Third-party sign-in: if you use "Sign in with Google" or "Sign in with Apple", the associated identifiers (email address, Google or Apple ID). With Apple, you can hide your email address (private relay address).
The Compleo application displays no advertising. It does however integrate the Meta and TikTok SDKs to measure our install campaigns: the device advertising identifier (IDFA on iOS, only with your consent via App Tracking Transparency; GAID on Android, per your system settings) and app install/open events. Purchases are shared with these partners server-side (see "Advertising and campaign measurement").

3. Purposes of processing

The data collected is used to:

ensure the proper operation and security of the website and the application;
measure audience, improve content and usability;
measure the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns (in particular for the Compleo application) and build advertising audiences, subject to your consent;
respond to your requests when you contact us (support, suggestions, questions);
where applicable, send information or news related to Pokedexia if you have subscribed to a newsletter;
create, manage and sync your account and your collection across your devices (Compleo application);
authenticate you, including via Google or Apple;
ensure technical diagnostics and the stability of the mobile application.

4. Legal basis for processing

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the processing carried out is based on:

your consent, for operations requiring your agreement (for example, analytics cookies or newsletter subscription);
the performance of the contract, for the management of your account and your collection in the Compleo application;
the legitimate interest of the publisher, for securing the website and the application and for overall audience measurement.

5. Retention period

Your data is kept only for as long as necessary for the purposes described above and in accordance with applicable legal periods. Audience-measurement data may be kept for a few months to a few years depending on the settings of the tool used.

Account data (Compleo application) is kept for as long as your account is active. If you request deletion, your account and your data are permanently deleted after a 30-day period (see the "Deleting your account" section).

6. Data sharing and partners

Data collected via Pokedexia and Compleo is not resold. It may be shared with the following technical service providers strictly within the scope of the purposes described:

Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) — audience measurement. More information: policies.google.com/privacy
Meta (Meta Platforms Ireland Limited) — Meta pixel on the website: measurement of our advertising campaigns and creation of audiences (retargeting, lookalike audiences), subject to your consent. More information: facebook.com/privacy/policy
TikTok (TikTok Technology Limited, Ireland) — TikTok pixel on the website: measurement of our advertising campaigns and creation of audiences, including through the hashed transmission of contact details entered on the website (Advanced Matching), subject to your consent. Google / Firebase (Google Ireland Limited) — for the Compleo application: authentication, audience measurement (Firebase Analytics) and hosting of profile pictures (Firebase Storage).
Sentry — technical error reports (diagnostics of the Compleo application).
Apple — for the "Sign in with Apple" feature.
Host of the website and the e-mailing solution for technical management and newsletter delivery.

Some of these companies (in particular Google, Meta and TikTok) may transfer data outside the European Union, notably to the United States. Such transfers are governed by the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or by adequacy decisions (including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework), in accordance with the GDPR.

7. Your rights

In accordance with the applicable regulations, you have the following rights regarding your personal data:

right of access;
right of rectification;
right to erasure (right to be forgotten);
right to restriction of processing;
right to object;
right to data portability (where applicable).

8. Cookies and trackers

The Pokedexia website uses cookies or similar technologies to improve your user experience and measure audience. For more information, please see our Cookie Policy.

These provisions concern the website. The Compleo application does not use advertising cookies; it only stores, securely, the technical data necessary for its operation (display preferences, authentication session).

9. Advertising and campaign measurement

The Compleo application displays no advertising and performs no advertising profiling. It integrates the Meta and TikTok SDKs for install attribution and campaign measurement — on iOS, only with your consent via App Tracking Transparency (revocable in Settings → Privacy → Tracking).

The Pokedexia website does not display ads. However, it uses advertising pixels (Meta and TikTok) to measure the effectiveness of our own promotional campaigns (in particular for the Compleo application) and to build advertising audiences (retargeting of website visitors, lookalike audiences). On your first visit, a consent window lets you accept or decline:

audience measurement by Google Analytics;
the Meta and TikTok advertising measurement pixels.

If you decline, these pixels are not loaded and no data is sent to Meta or TikTok. You can change your choice at any time via the "Manage cookies" link in the footer.

For Google Analytics, the website uses Google's Advanced Consent mode: your choice is transmitted to Google and, if you decline, only anonymous technical signals (without cookies or identifiers) are sent in order to statistically estimate overall traffic.

10. Deleting your account and your data

You can delete your account at any time from the Compleo application: Profile → Account → Delete my account (confirmation by password). Your account is then scheduled for deletion and permanently deleted after a 30-day grace period. If you log back in before the end of this period, the deletion is cancelled.

Deleted data: account information (email, username, picture, bio, social networks), collection, wishlist, favourites, teams, comments, votes and newsletter preferences.

If you are unable to access the application, you can request this via the contact form, from the email address associated with your account.

11. Minimum age

Pokedexia and Compleo are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data against any unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

13. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated to reflect changes to the website, the application or the law. The version in force is the one published on this page at the time of your consultation.
