New LEGO Pokémon Sets: Rayquaza, Arcanine and Munchlax Up for Preorder
The LEGO Group and The Pokémon Company International have unveiled five new LEGO Pokémon sets. The line-up brings together well-known Pokémon and beloved Trainers, with some models featuring minifigures and new figures. Preorders are already open, with releases staggered between August and October 2026.
LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza (72168)
The LEGO Pokémon Rayquaza set (72168) contains 1,083 pieces and depicts one of the most recognisable Legendary Pokémon. It recreates the Sky Pillar scene from the games Pokémon Omega Ruby and Pokémon Alpha Sapphire. An exclusive Zinnia minifigure is included with the model.
LEGO Pokémon Arcanine (72160)
With 1,190 pieces, the LEGO Pokémon Arcanine set (72160) recreates this Fire-type Pokémon from the Kanto region. The fully posable model captures Arcanine's imposing stance and signature mane.
LEGO Pokémon Munchlax (72150)
The Munchlax set (72150) features 757 pieces and stands over 18 centimetres tall. Posable arms and head reflect the playful personality of the Big Eater Pokémon, rounded out by treats inspired by its appetite.
LEGO Pokémon Poké Ball Moments (72154)
The LEGO Pokémon Poké Ball Moments set (72154) brings together 2,368 pieces. The large brick-built Poké Ball opens and closes to reveal several scenes, including a battle and Professor Oak's laboratory. It includes, for the first time, three Trainer minifigures - Professor Oak, Red and a Picnicker - along with Pikachu and Eevee figures.
LEGO Pokémon Up-Scaled Red Minifigure (40868)
The Up-Scaled Red Minifigure (40868) brings together over 930 pieces and depicts the Trainer Red with his red cap, jacket, backpack and a Poké Ball. Its arms, legs and head are posable, allowing the stance to be adjusted.
Preorder and Release Dates
Preorders for the full LEGO Pokémon range are open on the official LEGO website. Releases are split into two waves:
- 1 August 2026: Rayquaza (72168), Arcanine (72160), Munchlax (72150)
- 1 October 2026: Poké Ball Moments (72154), Up-Scaled Red Minifigure (40868)
The sets will be available on the official LEGO website, in LEGO Stores and at participating retailers in the relevant markets.
