Xerneas is a legendary Fairy-type Pokémon introduced in the sixth generation, originating from the Kalos region. Its Japanese name is ゼルネアス. This iconic Pokémon is directly linked to vital energy and to the very existence of life in the Pokémon universe, making it a central figure in Pokémon X.

Recognizable by its imposing body, its large size, and its luminous multi-colored antlers, Xerneas embodies light and life force. According to the Pokédex, it is said to be over a thousand years old and capable of sharing infinite energy with those around it. When it enters battle, its appearance changes slightly thanks to its Active Mode, highlighting its glowing antlers.
