Litten is a Fire-type Pokémon introduced in the seventh generation. Its English name is Litten and its Japanese name is ニャビー. It is known as the Fire Cat Pokémon and holds an important place among the starters of Pokémon Sun and Pokémon Moon. Litten is often chosen for its gradual power growth and its final evolution, which is very combat-oriented.

In the Pokédex, Litten is described as a young cat capable of producing flames by burning the fur it swallows while grooming itself. This detail has a direct impact on its gameplay, as it is a Fire-type Pokémon focused on physical attacks and offensive pressure from the very first levels.

Type and general characteristics
