Great Tusk is a Paradox Pokémon introduced in Generation IX and available in Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet. Its Japanese name is イダイナキバ. It is an ancient and primitive version of Donphan, recognizable by its massive body and enormous tusks. Great Tusk is highly appreciated by battle-oriented players thanks to its high HP, solid physical Defense, and particularly effective typing.

Type and Battle Role

Great Tusk has a dual Ground and Fighting type. This combination allows it to deal heavy damage to many opponents while remaining effective against Steel, Rock, and Dark types.
