General overview of Galarian Stunfisk

Galarian Stunfisk resembles a steel-colored bear trap, with a body adorned with fake green footprints. It buries itself beneath the ground's surface, leaving only its Poké Ball-shaped beak protruding to lure prey. When an opponent steps on it, it snaps its serrated steel fins shut to trap them. From living in iron-rich mud, its body has transformed into very solid steel.

It belongs to the Trap Pokémon category. It measures 0.7 m and weighs 20.5 kg. The gender ratio is 50% male and 50% female, and there is no visual difference between the two sexes.

Types and ability

Galarian Stunfisk is Ground and Steel type. This combination allows it notably to be immune to Poison and Electric type attacks, while benefiting from the robustness inherent to the Steel type.

Its sole ability is Mimicry: when a terrain is active on the field, this Pokémon automatically adopts the same type as the terrain in question.

Signature move

Galarian Stunfisk is the only Pokémon capable of learning the move Snap Trap, of Grass type, physical category, with 35 power and 100% accuracy. This move is learned at level 45 in the eighth generation.

Base stats

Galarian Stunfisk yields +2 HP EVs when defeated. It gives 165 experience points and reaches level 100 after a total of 1,000,000 experience points.

Evolution

Galarian Stunfisk does not belong to any evolution chain. It does not evolve and is not the evolution of any other Pokémon.
