Galarian Slowbro holds the number #0080 in the National Pokédex. It stands 1.6 m tall and weighs 70.5 kg. Its appearance is reminiscent of the original form, but several details set it apart: its forehead is furrowed and tinted purple, its hands also display this color, as does the tip of its tail. The Shellder it carries is now fixed on its left hand, and its tip is purple.
According to Pokédex descriptions, it was the Shellder's bite that triggered a chemical reaction with the spices present in Slowbro's body, granting it the Poison type. This symbiotic relationship with the Shellder is at the heart of its identity.
Evolution of Galarian Slowbro
Galarian Slowbro is the evolution of Galarian Slowpoke. To obtain this evolution, Galarian Slowpoke must be exposed to a Galarica Cuff. Galarian Slowpoke can also evolve into Galarian Slowking via a Galarica Wreath: the two evolved forms are therefore alternatives to each other.
Abilities of Galarian Slowbro
Galarian Slowbro has three abilities. Quick Draw allows it to sometimes act first in battle. Own Tempo makes it immune to confusion by allowing it to live at its own pace. Finally, Regenerator is its hidden ability: it restores one third of its HP when it is withdrawn from battle.
Signature move
Galarian Slowbro is the only Pokémon capable of learning Shell Side Arm, a Poison-type move of the Special category. It deals 100 base power with 90% accuracy in the eighth generation. This move is learned upon evolution.
