Mega Houndoom is the Mega Evolution form of the Pokémon Houndoom, known in English as Houndoom and in Japanese as ヘルガー. This Mega form radically transforms its stats and battle potential, making it a very formidable creature in several games of the Pokémon franchise. Mega Houndoom has the Fire and Dark type, an offensive combination capable of dealing significant damage against many opponents.

General overview of Mega Houndoom
In the main games as well as in Pokémon GO, this Mega form greatly improves Special Attack, allowing powerful flame-based attacks to be launched. Thanks to its power and its fearsome fangs, Mega Houndoom can deal significant damage in battle and support a team thanks to a Fire type bonus for other Pokémon present during a raid.

Houndoom's Mega form mainly improves its offensive potential. The base stats increase greatly, particularly Special Attack and Speed, allowing it to attack quickly and powerfully. Its defense remains adequate but this Pokémon remains attack-oriented.
