General overview of Mega Froslass

In this Mega form, the Pokémon retains its spectral identity but takes on a more imposing and mystical appearance. The term Mega Froslass is now used to refer to this temporary evolution obtained through a specific item called Frosslassite. For players, this form brings strategic interest thanks to its improved stats and its offensive and utility capabilities.

Mega Froslass remains a Pokémon composed exclusively of female individuals, like its base form Froslass. This characteristic is inherited from its evolution from a female Snorunt using a Dawn Stone.

Appearance and characteristics of Mega Froslass

The transformation into Mega Froslass strongly modifies the Pokémon's appearance. Its body becomes longer and seems to float on a cloud of ice. Its arms are more extended and resemble sleeves of a frozen kimono. The rocks on its head become true ice horns and its long white hair falls behind its skull.

The lower part of its body is reminiscent of a kimono whose interior features light blue and purple colors. A snowflake and frozen fragments can also be seen. The overall design reinforces the Ghost and Ice identity of the Pokémon.

When Mega Froslass is Shiny, certain colors change. The obi becomes pink and the purple parts of its head are lighter. The patterns on its sleeves and on the lower part of its frozen garment also become paler.

Evolution and how to obtain

To obtain Mega Froslass in Legends: Z-A, you must first have Froslass. It comes from evolving a female Snorunt using a Dawn Stone.

  • Female Snorunt + Dawn Stone - Froslass

  • Froslass + Frosslassite - Mega Froslass

This evolutionary line is parallel to that of Glalie, which evolves from Snorunt at level 42 and can then become Mega Glalie thanks to a Glalitite. The choice between Froslass and Glalie therefore depends on the gender and the evolution method.

Battle usage and stats

In battles, Mega Froslass benefits from improved stats compared to Froslass. Players often favor a strategy based on Speed and Special Attack, two traditional strengths of this Pokémon.

Its Ice and Ghost typing gives it access to several powerful moves capable of surprising opponents. In certain situations, this Pokémon can also use support or field control moves.

According to the Pokédex description in Legends: Z-A, Mega Froslass possesses an icy breath charged with spectral energy. This ability allows it to freeze almost everything around it, even elements normally impossible to freeze such as fire or wind.

Pokémon TCG and collecting

On the Pokémon Trading Card Game side, collectors sometimes look for versions related to Froslass. Cards such as Froslass ex or Mega Froslass ex may appear in certain series or special collections, depending on TCG releases.

The price of a Pokémon card depends on several factors such as condition, rarity, or series. In the market, a card can have an accessible average price for standard versions, while certain rare editions reach a higher price.

To preserve the condition of a Pokémon card, collectors often use a sleeve or a rigid protection. This helps protect the card from scratches, moisture, and wear over time.

Thanks to its unique design and its role in the Snorunt evolutionary family, Mega Froslass attracts the attention of players and collectors interested in Ice and Ghost type Pokémon.
