Mega Diancie was revealed in 2014 in CoroCoro Comics magazine alongside other Mega Evolutions. Since its appearance in the sixth-generation games, this form has become one of the most notable among Rock and Fairy type Pokémon.

In the games, Mega Diancie is known for its high offensive stats and improved Speed compared to Diancie. This Mega Evolution transforms this defensive Pokémon into an attacker capable of dealing significant damage while benefiting from an extremely useful ability in competitive play.

Appearance and description

Mega Diancie resembles a small princess made of crystals and diamonds. The diamond on its head is particularly remarkable as it exceeds 2,000 carats. This gemstone shines brilliantly and is one of the most distinctive elements of this Pokémon.

The ribbons attached to its body are long and evoke an elegant dress. At the ends of these ribbons are pink diamond-shaped gems that reinforce the regal appearance of Mega Diancie. Several crescent moon-shaped hooks are visible around its neck and belly.

In some descriptions, this Pokémon is nicknamed the pink princess of elegance. This title comes from its refined appearance and the exceptional brilliance of its diamonds.

Evolution and Mega form

Mega Diancie is the direct Mega Evolution of Diancie. This transformation occurs when Diancie holds the Diancite item during battle. The transformation is temporary and lasts only for the duration of the battle.
