Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration Set: 16 New Cards Revealed
Sixteen cards from the 30th Celebration Pokémon TCG set were revealed on September 9, 2026, one week before the set's release. This official preview brings together several Legendary Pokémon and offers a first look at the visual direction chosen for the anniversary set, due out on September 16, 2026.

Sixteen cards revealed ahead of release
The gallery published by The Pokémon Company shows sixteen illustrations from the set without revealing its full contents. This is the first batch of new 30th Celebration cards to be presented officially.
The selection puts Legendary Pokémon in the foreground, alongside other species from the franchise. No information on the rarity of each individual card accompanies the preview.
Legendary Pokémon at the centre of the preview
The composition of the gallery gives a central place to Legendary Pokémon. That choice matches the overall direction of the set, which marks three decades of Pokémon TCG by leaning on the most recognisable species in the series.
The cards shown fall under the illustration rare category introduced in this set, a rarity defined by full-card artwork that collectors actively seek out.

The sixteen illustrations are signed by fourteen artists, several of them regular Pokémon TCG contributors. HYOGONOSUKE alone accounts for three of the cards shown.

Booster pack contents
Each booster pack in the 30th Celebration set contains:
- five shiny cards, including one Pikachu card from the series of thirty illustrations
- one shiny Basic Energy card
This format standardises the contents of every booster around shiny cards.
