Pokémon Champions Launches on Android and iOS on June 17, 2026
The battle game Pokémon Champions is coming to smartphones. It releases on the App Store and Google Play on June 17, 2026, following its launch on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 in April 2026. Pre-registration is already open, and a Raichu with two Mega Stones will be given to players on the mobile version.
Pokémon Champions available on mobile on June 17, 2026
Available on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 since April 2026, Pokémon Champions arrives on Android and iOS on June 17, 2026. The game can be downloaded from the App Store and Google Play, where pre-registration is now open.
Pre-registration and shared save data
Players can pre-register the game now on the App Store and Google Play. Owners of the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 versions keep their progress: save data is shared with the mobile version, as long as it is linked to the same Nintendo Account.
A free Raichu and two Mega Stones
Trainers who connect to the mobile version, once it is available, will receive a Raichu along with two Mega Stones not yet in the game: a Raichunite X and a Raichunite Y. These rewards will arrive in the Pokémon Champions mailbox.
The gift is available from Wednesday, June 17, 2026 to Wednesday, September 2, 2026 at 01:49 UTC. Players on both the Nintendo Switch and mobile versions are eligible.
Raichu's Mega Evolutions in battle
Raichu is a well-known Electric-type Pokémon and has won a World Championship. In Pokémon Champions, its two Mega Evolutions have different Abilities:
- Mega Raichu X: the Ability Electric Surge, which sets up Electric Terrain.
- Mega Raichu Y: the Ability Unaware, paired with the moves Thunder Cage and Thunder, whose accuracy is guaranteed.
With this mobile release, Pokémon Champions becomes available on more devices while keeping the progress made on Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Raichu and its Mega Stones give newcomers and regular players a first goal.
