Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest is currently live in Pokémon Pokopia. This limited-time event started on July 19, 2026 and ends on July 27, 2026 at 4:59 a.m. It takes the form of a timed challenge against Zorua, playable solo or with others, with rewards handed out according to the time recorded. Zorua's Hide-and-Sneak Contest dates

The event runs from July 19, 2026 at 5:00 a.m. to July 27, 2026 at 4:59 a.m., console local time. That makes for a total participation window of eight days.

An active internet connection is required to take part, along with game update 1.1.0. Unlike some earlier Pokémon Pokopia events, time travel does not allow the challenge to be completed once the window has closed.

How to take part in the contest

Zorua appears in front of any rebuilt Pokémon Center. This is the only entry requirement: the Pokémon only visits towns whose Pokémon Center has been restored to working order. Players who have not yet reached that stage of the story need to repair at least one Pokémon Center before they can compete.

Speaking to Zorua then starts a round. The principle is concealment: players hide in the environment or use the Copy skill, which allows them to take the shape of an object from the scenery. The goal is to record the fastest possible time.

Multiplayer and time records

The contest can be played solo on a personal island, but also in multiplayer. Two options are available: joining another person's world, or heading to a Cloud Island.

In this setup, whoever finishes fastest among all participants earns the time record for the town or Cloud Island where the round took place. That record stays attached to the location, not to the player.

Reward table by completion time

Rewards from the Hide-and-Sneak Contest are handed out in time brackets. The faster the run, the rarer the items obtained, up to the Rare PokéMetal ingots reserved for the best performances.

The Hide-and-Sneak Trophy

The Hide-and-Sneak Trophy is the most visible reward of the event. It is obtained by finishing a round in 1 min 30 sec or less, and it displays the best score recorded. As a decorative item, it can be placed on the island to show off that performance.

The trophy is not registered in the in-game collection. It is also the only exclusive element of the event: no new Pokémon is added to the Pokédex through the contest, unlike the four Pokémon Pokopia events that came before it.
