Ruler of the Skies, the TCG Pocket set

Ruler of the Skies (天空の支配者 in Japan) is an expansion for the Pokémon TCG Pocket mobile game. As with the physical set, Mega Rayquaza is its centrepiece. Detailed card information has not been shared yet.

Ruler of the Skies release date

The expansion is scheduled to launch worldwide on July 31, 2026. The mobile game therefore receives the Mega Rayquaza theme before the international release of its physical counterpart, expected in November.

A release alongside the physical TCG

This is the first time a single theme is rolled out in parallel across the Pokémon TCG and Pokémon TCG Pocket. TCG Pocket leads the way in late July, while the physical expansion Delta Reign follows internationally in November. Both sets share Mega Rayquaza as their central figure.

A campaign spread across the summer

Ruler of the Skies is part of the Soaring Mega Rayquaza campaign, whose Japanese schedule lists further products and events before and after these two expansions, through the end of summer. Their details have not yet been specified.
